Jeffrey M. Wolf, MD, MBA, FCCP, FACP
Jeffrey M. Wolf, MD, MBA, FCCP, FACP joined Nassau Chest Physicians in 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religion in 1990. He earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1994. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Adelphi University and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society in 2013.
After graduating from medical school, he entered a three-year residency training program in Internal Medicine at NYU and Bellevue Hospitals, which he completed in 1997. After residency, he began a three-year fellowship training program in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He did additional training in Interventional Pulmonology at L’Hôpital St. Marguerite in Marseilles, France. During his fellowship, he authored a chapter on Airway Interventions in Tavares & Ferrucci-Textbook of Radiology. He completed his fellowship training in 2000.
Dr. Wolf has a strong interest in Global Health. He donates his time every year doing volunteer work in Port au Prince, Haiti. He has worked with both the International Medical Corps and Project Medishare managing intensive care units at both L’Hôpital Université D’Etat D’Haïti and Hôpital Bernard Mevs in Port au Prince.
Dr. Wolf speaks Spanish, French and Haitian Creole.
Dr. Wolf is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Wolf in a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Wolf is on the professional staffs of St. Francis Hospital, North Shore University Hospital (Manhasset and Plainview), and St. Joseph Hospital. He is the Associate Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Hospital.
